I hope y'all had an amazing Thanksgiving despite Rona. I hope it was full of family, food, fun, and a whole lot of love. If it were up to me I would've posted this post the day after Halloween but apparently there are people in this world who don't believe in celebrating Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving...crazy but I guess I can somewhat understand. (Sydney you're still crazy but I love you)
With Christmas on all of our minds right now, I thought I would do another post similar to my Cooking with AP Tunes posts, but this time...CHRISTMAS EDITION! So head on over to your kitchen to cook or your bedroom to get ready to these Christmas tunes! And I'm not talking about the normal catchy ones, we're gonna add a little bit of *flair* along with the OG tunes!

Coming in first, we have LET IT SNOW//BOYZ II MEN. Momma Pitts & Makaya this is for you, add some soul to your Christmas playlists this year!
This song is a whole vibe and from the classic movie, This Christmas...but the song isn't This Christmas...it's TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS//CHRIS BROWN. This song is so pure and Chris Brown left NO crumbs!! He could sing this to me every day and I would never ever complain.
The real ones know this is my favorite Christmas song of ALL TIME. No explanation needed.
Little Drummer Boy//Pentatonix
Big Time Rush. Is an honorable mention with this song, ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS//BIG TIME RUSH. I promise even 10 years later I still play this. Everyone plays Mariah Carey's version but this one hits a bit different!
A Legendary Christmas. The only John Legend album I can actually listen to fully through, because unpopular opinion but I don't think he's THAT good of a singer but this song needs to mentioned. It makes me want to grab my man and dance around the kitchen,so coming in fifth we have PURPLE SNOWFLAKES//JOHN LEGEND.
Leona is SO much more than Bleeding Love and I don't want y'all sleeping on her anymore!! Let's talk about that natural beauty that she continues to radiate! Did you know she's British?? Fun fact LOL! So this next song is ONE MORE SLEEP//LEONA LEWIS.
There can't be a Christmas playlist without the girl group that carries r&b and soul on their backs! With that being said I introduce the amazing song, 8 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS//DESTINY'S CHILD.
Queens' finest bring a song that highlights being "soft" has nothing to do with Christmas, it's a time to celebrate this holiday that was meant to honor family, unity, and quality time. With that being said I introuduce CHRISTMAS IN HOLLIS//RUN DMC to the mix!
Another honorable mention in honor of Momma Pitts, we have THE Mary J Blige. Her version of THIS CHRISTMAS is TOP TIER so give it a listen!
SLEIGH RIDE//TLC is a classic in my household make it one in yours this year too!
Last but definitely not least, we have a video from my favorite TV Show, A Different World. Baby, it's Cold Outside is the title of the episode and at the end of the episode, Dwayne and Whitley lip-sync to this song in their bedroom.
